Chichester Cathedral on May 3rd, 2025.

As a recently re-opened Parish Church we continue our journey of first-time experiences together as a new congregation since reopening after over 5 years of closure (asbestos removal and some structural reengineering). Our most recent first-time experience being a Day Pilgrimage to a nearby Cathedral.

On Saturday 3rd May, 42 of us pilgrimed by coach to Chichester Cathedral on their 950th anniversary year of the formation of the Diocese and Cathedral. Being a special year, Fr Glen was blessed to celebrate Mass at Shrine Altar of S. Richard.

Please see a gallery of photos taken by our Pilgrims.

We offer our thanks to Chichester Cathedral for warmly welcoming us. Special mention goes to Canon Venessa and Head Verger Tim who looked after us throughout the day, making sure we had every we needed to have the full pilgrim experience.

We were also fortunate to meet The Right Revd Martin Warner, the Bishop of Chichester, and The Very Revd Dr Edward Dowler, Dean of Chichester.

If you would like to join us on our next Parish Pilgrimage, please see our notice board as we are planning our weekend stay at Walsingham later this year…
