Here at S. Mary’s, we embrace modern technology – as long as it is helpful.

Previously we used WhatsApp and had our own community. However, we learnt that WhatsApp does not meet good safeguarding standards, so we have opted to instead use the service provided by Jovo (previously called Joyned) which is Privacy and GDPR compliant and exceeds our standards for safeguarding.

Jovo does not require a phone number, prohibits private or 1-to-1 conversations, and hides people’s private contact details, it is safe environment for all ages.
