Yesterday we enjoyed our first social event of many here at S. Mary’s. Members gathered into teams of 4 to compete against each other in rounds of questions covering General Knowledge and the Bible.
It was also an opportunity for us to begin raising awareness and funds for our Charity of Choice for 2024-5: Hillingdon Women’s Centre:
Providing information, support, guidance and advice for women of Hillingdon suffering different types of abuse.
Throughout 2024-5, any events organised to raise funds will be equally split between S. Mary’s (for continued mission and ministry within the community) and Hillingdon Women’s Centre.
Yesterday, for our first event, we raised a total of £218!!!
